About Forshaw Demolition?

Forshaw Demolition Ltd is a family owned company based on over 8o years’ experience in the demolition industry.

Competent in all aspects of demolition including residential; city centre; high rise; road & rail infrastructure; industrial dismantling, we provide a fully integrated package for demolition solutions throughout the UK.

Sectors

We undertake a full range of enabling services from asbestos removal, industrial decommissioning and demolition/dismantling of various large-scale concrete and including pre and post-tensioned road and rail bridges, city centre offices, former industrial sites, multi-storey tower blocks and marine-associated structures.

Typically, our projects have values of between £20,000 and £2,000,000 and we cover the full length and breadth of the UK.

Resources

At FDL we have a fully trained staff with a mix of skills in demolition, plant and haulage disciplines which, combined with our experienced management and supervisory staff enables us to resource any job with confidence.

We also employ a full time Health & Safety Manager who ensures we are carrying out our duties to the highest of standards at all times.

In addition to our eight-wheel wagons in the Forshaw transport fleet we have a mobile crusher and seven demolition-spec excavators of differing sizes with a range of hydraulic demolition and material handling attachments. As you would expect we have a wide range of accessories for these excavators including concrete pulverisors, steel shears and demolition grabs.

We also have two remote demolition excavators (Brokks), two skidsteer loaders and a tractor with bowser trailer for site water suppression. All our plant and equipment is renewed, serviced and maintained to the highest standards to ensure it is ready for action whenever and wherever it is required.

Certification

FDL have achieved the CHAS (Contactors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) accreditation and ConstructionLine and are currently working towards ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environmental) and ISO8001 (Health & Safety) standards.
