Completion of Abraham Moss

FDL have completed the demolition of the Leisure Centre and Library complex at the Abraham Moss secondary school in Manchester for Laing O’Rourke Construction.  The work commenced in March 2021 and finished on schedule last week.

The complex contained a large public library, two swimming pools, two squash courts, an indoor sports’ hall and a large gymnasium as well as other offices and some classrooms.  Demolition is to make way for a more modern state of the art sports facility and library for the school and community.  Read more about the new development on Laing O’Rourke’s website.
